Disgraceful attack on Council workers how many of us earn 50,000+

In true Tory style he lists the actual cost of Council Workers on 50,000 and 100,000 a year, why didn't he do a care assistant or a homecarer on 10,000 to 13,000 a year, working hard to look after even people like him.

What they will do to keep us down, so they can continue to earn far more than most of us will ever see in a lifetime.

Tory's manifesto to break up the Unions priceless

Well spotted by Allison, The Tory's 4 point plan to break the trade unions, anyone would think we were doing as well as the bankers, average wage for most of us is around and not much more than the minimum wage, but that would have to go if the Tory's got in.

We don't ask for much, take even less, the Local Government worker is something society should be proud of and every family must have at least one, working class families anyway.

Become a Meerkat

I'm not stealing this one full credit to Barnet for a wonderful way to engage non-members in the very worryng world of Transformation or as some Councils call it Future Programme.

If you like the ad and are in Bristol where we have Transformation (same thing) and maybe don't want to go the way of Barnet then ring the branch on 01179405002 and ask to sign up.

Do it on line there is a link on this page. See your local UNISON steward and if you haven't got one make sure your group elect one.

Barnet are not the only ones losing things

See the link below

Barnet are not the only ones losing entire services Bristol lost the entire Mental Health Service in the structure of their department. We may need Mulder too.

Devolution to Neighbourhood Partnerships, Next big culture change for Council

Bristol City Council staff have yet more changes to face with the Devolution to Neighbourhood Partnership report that was presented for consultation mainly to Councillors who had a briefing today on the implications of this requirement under the Communities in Control/Communities in Power part of the LGPIHA 2007.
